According to the market demand, Raynol Company has developed modified phthalic anhydride polyester polyol, RAYNOL- 3152M , which is a kind of aromatic polyester polyol. The product has high primary hydroxyl and benzene ring content, with functionality 2.4, and the polyurethane produced with the product has the following characteristics:
1. compared with RAYNOL-3152, it has higher functionality and has improved the stability of dimension and ability to cure;
2. High activity and less catalyst consumption;
3. Easily mixed with isocyanate etc. to form equal and exquisite holes of the polyurethane foams with low heat conduction coefficient;
4. It can enhance foam tenacity, improve adhesion strength between polyurethane and metal and plastics, and the problem of poor adhesion strength, crispness, shrinkage & dehiscence of foam at the condition of winter or low surrounding temperature is resolved ;
5. Improved fire retardant performance
6. Excellent hydrolyzation resistance and thermal stability.
It is mainly used in producing hard polyurethane foam, semi-hard foam, soft foam, adhesives, sealant, coating, elastomer, etc, such as building sandwich plate, polyurethane modified poly-isocyanurate foam, water proof & heat insulation of building roof, coating hard polyurethane foam for cold storage, poured hard polyurethane foam on refrigerator, freezer and insulating pipe, semi-hard thermoplastic polyurethane foam for automobile ceiling, glassfiber-boosted polyurethane structural foam for automobile instrument panel frame etc..
It is especially applicable for pouring, painting and fire retardant hard polyurethane foams, and can substitute the hard foam polyether for 20-100% as its succedaneum. |
